About Founder
I was raised to believe that the only fulfilling job paths were those in medicine, nursing, education, and law. I was happy to pursue my goal of becoming a registered nurse a few years ago, if you asked me. My approval for the Social Work program came after I graduated from high school and enrolled in college. As my passion for social work grew, I began to doubt whether I should major in social work or apply to nursing schools. To obtain experience, I began working in the BPO sector after receiving my Associate's degree in Social Work.
What brought me here in the travel industry was a dream of exploring foreign lands. I used to tell my mother that I would visit Panama first, then Mexico, and finally the Dominican Republic. As my curiosity increased, I found myself checking hotels and their rates nearly every day. After performing extensive research, I traveled to Panama for the first time in 2021. Many people asked me questions on the Panama travel process after I returned to Jamaica. A few months after "CARIBBEAN TRAVELS JA" was introduced. Now I had to balance both my travel business and my 9–5 job. But after a few months, I realized that I lacked the confidence to manage a travel agency and I learned from it. Although I knew I wanted this, the time wasn't perfect.
I was psychologically exhausted from working in the BPO industry and felt a calling to return to my business in February of 2023. I then took another trip to panama with friends. After returning to Jamaica, I finally gained the courage to quit my job. I debuted my travel company a week later while flying to the Dominican Republic. I've visited four nations as of December 29, 2023, and have many upcoming trips for the year of 2024. Additionally, I applied for my first visa, the Schengen visa which I was approved for. I was also approved for the UAE and Turkey visa, which I need for my upcoming trips. In the year 2023, since I reopened my travel agency, I have worked with over 200 clients.
